Lignite – (A Type of Coal, with Lower GCV – Gross Calorific Value) is used in Surat and South Gujarat Industrial Area by Textile Processing and Chemical Houses, is also a part of our Energy Business Portfolio.

Imported Coal is being seen as a rising segment, as Indian Collieries Production cannot meet the rising demand of Industry and Power Houses.

With a Coal trading of about 4,00,000 tonnes, the Coal Divisions is clocking turnover of more than Rs. 200 Cr annually.

New Compliance added by the VAT department in the State of Maharashtra
As per the recent Notification no. VAT – 1514 / Cr. 30 / Taxation issued by the VAT department on 23-June-2014, whereby it has been specified that from 25-July-2014onwards, for every incoming / outgoing movement of goods from outside the state into the state or from inside the state to outside state, the consignor / consignee and the transporter is required to upload the document called “e-way bill” in Prescribed form on separate website of the state govt. www.mahabcp.in.
Details of Forms to be uploaded
a) Consignee - to upload e way bill in form no. 901 :- (OMS Purchase Transaction) Consignee is the Person / party who takes the delivery of goods in Maharashtra of the goods consigned to him by the party from other state.
b) Consignor - to upload e way bill in form no. 902 :- (OMS Sales Transaction) Consignor is the Person / party who sends the goods outside state (Maharashtra)
c) Transporter - to upload e way bill in form no. 903 :- Every Transporter, who enters into the state or departs from state for transporting goods along with e-waybill as above, shall upload e-waybill in Form 903 stating details of such e-waybills which are uploaded by consignor as the case may consignee.
d) Transporter - when Transit of goods through Maharashtra State - to upload e-way bill in form no. 904 :- Every Transporter, who transports the goods from any place outside the state to any place outside the state and passes through the state, shall upload a transit pass in Form 904.
For e.g. If a Transporter is transporting goods from Gujarat to Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and in between passes from Maharashtra state then he shall upload way bill in Form no. 904 for transporting goods through Maharashtra.
Enrolment and Uploading :-
The dealers who are already registered with Maharashtra Sales Tax Dept.'s website "www.mahavat.gov.in. ”, need not have to enrol again. They have to use their user id and password of Mahavat in "www.mahabcp.in. ". Others have to get themselves enrolled with "www.mahabcp.in. " and while uploading forms they have use their PAN or TAN or Aadhar Card UID.
The respective Form should be uploaded by consignor before exit of goods outside the state or by consignee before the entry of goods into the state
